Haha, random small bits of TA drama are always good entertainment.

Thanks for the recommendations all, definitely saw some names in there I haven't heard for a while (and/or only heard through radio).

first and foremost, FUCKING Bloc Party. They are mint. Also Hard-Fi are one of the best bands to come out of britain in a while.

with liking coldplay then id strongly recommend : Long-View, Thirteen Senses, Snow Patrol and Waking Ashland. Make sure u check all those out.

and a couple others that i personally like

Anberlin
All-American Rejects
The Audition
Acceptance
Alkaline Trio

and ive just realised they all start with A

The band you are referring to with Page, Beck, and Clapton is the Yardbirds. Cream is Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce.

Yeah, wopes. always get that mixed up. either way, pick up some cream. good old rock I mean, you cant go wrong with clapton

Audioslave is a huge disappointment in my opinion considering how good RATM and Soundgarden were.

I like Audioslave more then either, more approchable sound, and less filler on their albums (so far). Rage was too involved in politics, and on some occasions put their music on the back burner.

If by "best" you mean "worst" then I agree with you.

haha, i liked how they sepperated the accoustic stuff from the rock, because on their other albums it really killed the vibe when going some something as hard to something slow.
