Easy there, mate, who said I didn't? Was it because I wasn't spamming after you got here? Fair enough, you weren't even here back when I got the modship so, before I continue, let's focus a bit on the history of this forum, shall we?
First of all, the reason why I got to be the mod of both sections was dead simple - back in 2001 and 2002, there were several attempts of having either a Spanish-speaking forum, a Spanish forum (as in "a forum for Spain") or a Portuguese forum (once again, just a Portugal thing). However, whenever there was a head count, none of them had enough users. So, if you browse the archives, you'll see that in 2002 all I did was bringing all of us together so we could create a bigger forum, where all of us could talk about our local scene - in case you haven't notice, the area covered by this "regional" forum is ridiculously larger than the others. It's not that hard to understand that, pretty much as all other users, I wanted to talk in my mother language about the scene where I lived and I wanted others to be able to do the same.
I became a mod one week after the forum was created. Once again, it happened because having one person modding both forums would be less of a hassle than having two moderators in such inactive forums. Besides, the first thread ever posted in the Spanish forum was already followed by some drama, in which I tried to help. No spamming whatsoever, as you can see, I just wanted to help the community and I was given the chance to do so.
As time passed by, many of those who I used to chat with were drifting away, while I befriended with loads of people from the Portuguese speaking forum, the Chill-out forum and even the Political forum. Besides, time started to become an issue in my life so I couldn't just spam everywhere. TA's is insanely huge, how could I? It's not just because I didn't like trance. The Spanish forum used to be about trance far more than the Portuguese forum, for example, where we didn't do much other than having a laugh except whenever there was a major event. What would I say in a thread about Armin? I wouldn't post just for the sake of it. What would I say in a thread about a party in Barcelona? I'm not saying you're fuelling resentment and conflicts with those of us across the ocean. It's just that, since there was a request for Spain to have it own forum, you're acting like a spoiled child praising me whenever I do something you want and whining whenever you don't get what you want. Want an example, just the second post in this page and the last post in this page. In fact, you never even bothered to reply to my explanation. Just because it was clear for you that a Spanish forum could be created, it doesn't mean it could actually be created. For Christ's sake, was this annoyance even necessary? How I "ruled"? Are you really dense enough not to get it? I was not the one deciding whether you guys have another forum or not. I was not the one deciding whether you guys get a double link. Heck, I didn't even choose whether someone should be banned without discussing it with other mods, and I'm able to count on my fingers how many users I banned during the time I was a moderator. I'm sick and tired of hearing harsh words because of the whole issue around the Spanish forum. Enough of false assumptions and whining. I just had to rant about it, after all this time I tried to cope with your ignorance. Happy to see me irate?
Great, now go do crosswords or something. I'm out of here and I'm officially giving up on this forum, in case it wasn't clear before.

This is not a matter about being a mod (I voted for you actually, as I think you'd be able to entertain those in the forums you mod). If it were (about modship), I wouldn't even need to be here, given the fact I quit long ago. It's just incredibly annoying that, even months after I quit and decide to lurk just to remember the old times, UnBracko is being a twit about the whole thing. I had been polite for all this time, it was time to speak louder and let it all out.
As for the COR, I will be back as soon as I put my life back on track again. I really miss you guys and all the randomness going there.
Well, I got that rant out of my chest and the school where I worked just closed today, so it's time for me to get serious about finding a proper job. Time for me to move on and wonder why Wikipedia is so slow.
