I'd hardly say that Tiesto sucks. Perhaps he's not as good as he once was, but I don't see how you can slam the DJ who first mixed "In My Memory" and "Adagio for Strings". I mean, this guy spun at the olympic games!
Moving on to how the set was, I thought it didn't start too well, but between 2:30 and 3:30 it was absolutely electric. It wasn't PvD at Roxy, but it was still a good show overall. The one thing I couldn't get over, though, was the fact that Tiesto would keep leaving the booth and walking back to chat with the groupies (or whatever they were; damned annoying)and his freinds. It's not cool when a DJ doesn't touch the equipment for more such long periods of time, it makes him lose touch with the crowd.
P.S. I'm still looking to ID that song that Devant played right before Tiesto got on. As I said a few posts back, the song was intense and I want to get my hands on it...

Tiesto was hardly the first to mix Adagio for Strings. William Orbit and Ferry Corsten were playing their own versions of it, which are better, in 1999.
