I'm on your side with the disturbing, but if you saw me do everything I said, would you think there's any possibility I'm sleepwalking? I had to take a key off of a counter than unlocked the second door the I had to unlock, two chains...freakin crazy. 2 minutes later and I would have been in my car driving!
All I can say is thank God you were stopped. As unreal as that was, if you accidentally killed someone (God forbid) behind the wheel, you'd probably have some responsibility. At least you have insurance in that case to compensate the other family...in this rape case it's just downright wrong (I'm actually grinding my teeth I'm so mad at this!!!! )

D00d, if someone can navagate traffic in their sleep it is certainly conceivable that they can figure out how to open a trunk lid and grab and object or rip a piece of plastic and put on a condom. Srsly Fahad, people have done far more complex things in their sleep. Parasomniac disorders are well researched and very well documented. Whether you believe they exist or not means sweet fuck all and really only serves to highlight your lack of knowledge on the subject rather then the validity of it. I expect that you will know much more about mortgages then I do, you probably expect that I know more about insurance then you do, why is it that you refuse to believe that these psychiatrists know more about the functions of the human brain then you? The first step to wisdom is recognizing that you do not know and seeking the answers from those that do. I recommend that you take that step.
On a side note.... sorry that the tone of my post is so negative towards you. You know I love you and I only offend in an effort to help.

LOL you never have to "ghey-ify" your posts with a disclaimer, you fag...I will never misinterpret you!
And I'm the first to admit how ignorant I am re: this subject but it's something I can't just believe by reading it here, in a newspaper, or even on T.V. This kinda thing I have to SEE to believe.

Without open eyes, this is impossible. If it is possible to have open eyes and still be in a deep sleep, that's just zombie-talk nonsense

Ghey, I'll give you ghey...... RIGHT IN THE ASS!
The eyes are open during almost all parasomnia actions. Normally when we enter REM sleep our bodies become paralized. This is a defense mechanism that prevents us from injuring ourselves by physically reacting to dreams. When a person sufferes from a parasomnia disorder this defense mechanism is turned off. Subsequently, the brain is in REM sleep but the body is fully awake. The result is that real stimulous is received by the brain through the sensory organs but it is only processed in the context of the dream. This means there is no frontal lobe activity.... no voluntary control..... no reason involved. If the action is involuntary then the person cannot be held responsible.
