I would agree if they were taking everone's glow stick but they were not. No one that I have talked to could say anything nice about about the club. If the bouncer can't smell the cup and see if there was any alcohol in it then I agree with you that no arguement would have worked. Quess you have to have an IQ of single digits to work there. I can;t believe that people put up with that sh**.

I've never seen G&D and Marcus live. I listened to some G&D sets as well as Marcus' sets and there were some choons here and there but I never really considered them my cup of tea. Lately, I've been simply bored by new trance releases and decided to get a new taste and look. So, I ventured off to experience something new.

I got 4 words:

0H MY F-N GAWD!!!!!!

Consider me a prog/tech/house convert. G&D were pretty cool to see live and energy was definitely there. But it wasn't really going. However, I could feel that they were keeping the place warm for Marcus. Marcus got there at around 1:30 but didn't come on until 3 - which was a very long time to wait!

Marcus came on and that' was it for me. He tore the place to SHREDS! I was jumping like a crazy muppet and holllyyyyyy shit!!!!! the place was rocking! I felt the rush hit me as he dropped "Moby" - "Dream about Me" (Ingroso remix). I heard the track for the first time only few hours before I got to the club - it came on Mylo Mixmag CD mix. It sounded huge in the car but in the club it sounded MASSIVE!

Marcus is my #1 American DJ at the moment - I am definitely addicted! Great night, though I do wish Marcus played longer - he should have headlined the night with at least 5-7 hours of playtime.

Also, the VIP booths upstairs were mostly empty and I found a comfy spot facing the dj booth and the floor and just chilled for several hours, feeding off the energy in the club. It wasn't as packed as it usually gets for DJ's like Armin or Paul Van Dyk - so there was room to dance and move around. People were great and atmosphere was terrific. I can't remember most of the choon names but it was a great set and it was probably the best set I heard this year!

+1 Definitely My wife actually got pretty pissed off at one of the bouncers when he acted like a total jerk-off. She even cursed him off - which is exceptionally unusual of her.

I also almost got into a fight with a jerk off who bumped into us, almost knocked my wife to the floor, pushed us aside, spilled my drink all over my shoes and did not even as much as say "excuse me". He was about to give me some lip but as soon as I took my watch off he just turned around and disappeared in the crowd. F-n pussy!

Otherwise, a great night. Oh, and my only complaint - my ears were ringing all day Saturday. I thought that Spirit had a Phazon system and it was supposed to prevent things like that from happening. Though it did sound like Marcus turned the volume up when he came on.

i've got a shit load of pictures, and videos as well actually, but they're massive size, so i'm not sure if i can post them anywhere; if someone messages me, i'll email them some of the best pictures

in addition, i'm trying to ID one of the tracks that i have a video of. the clip is only 13 seconds, but it was during G&D set, with a female vocalist going something like "Let it go, let it go..."; i've heard it before i think from an armin ASOT, but i just don't know the track name. help would be most grateful!!!

oh yea, and it was fucking awesome. came up from philadelphia just to see it and it was totally worth it...
