Le review
So, I was stupid and went to the Guv the night b4, having already woken up at 7:30 am that day and had a full day of activities. Only got a 20 min 'nap' at 6am b4 I had to get up and get motivated, and believe me- it was a struggle! Adding more difficulty to the matter was having my seriously facked up across the street neighbor over (who'd been at some after hours all night w/our roommate & returned w/her), with him having some medical emergency having split his lip on a HARMONICA of all things, and he was bleeding profusely all over our house, and his drunkeness was making it hard for him to follow directions, and all I wanted him to do was leave, so he could stop being a distraction for us, and we could have our bathroom back to get ready.... UGH!
So, we get to breakfast 30 mins late cuz of this, and I'm near delerious at this point, but eating certainly helped bring me back to reality. Thanks to everyone who made it out, and got to experience the best breakfast in town. Yum yum!
Then off to the Zone. Some folks that had guest list got there b4 Jesse could submit it (some walking in literally seconds b4 he did), so its unfortunate. The door guy wasn't too helpful in aswering whether there was a separate guest list line, so in the line we stood. When Jesse arrived, he told him we were on his list, but it made no difference. When flec showed up, he went right up to the bouncer and said he was on Scumfrog's list, and he was let in right away! I was like, ' But WE'RE on Scumfrog's list!' and he was like, 'really? i thought that guy was joking'. ha! So, in we finally went. Coat check was full, so Simon & Josh gladly took my car keys to put all our coats in the trunk (once they found their way).
Let the 4 hr marathon begin....
So, for all the Scumfrog 1st-timers, this was a bit of a different set, without standard microphone and drum kit because he opted not to do a soundcheck and set those things up, so be sure to catch him the next time he's here for the 'full show'. Some songs we heard included:

Took a break around 11:30 to walk around and inspect the Zone. I was on a mission to find the sketch factor that keeps me away from this place. Surprisingly, I couldn't find anything to really scare me, like 5 yrs ago did. Sure, some wierd Asian people... and I'm sure if I sat down in the back and observed for long, I woulda seen some dodgy stuff, but as far as going there w/a group of non-sketchy friends goes, its ok. I still think its a dirty, nasty place, but I can say I'm over my fear of it. 
During that walking around, I met some Asian girls who said they were 'so bored!' by his set, and overheard some others in the club saying similar things, prefering CoZo residents to his set yesterday. Guess it wasn't as dirty and driving as it coulda been for that crowd. Regardless, we danced the entire time.
