I'm still trying to figure out why it took three guys to carry my little ass to my car. Anyway, I just wanted to let everybody know that I'm alright, it's not the first time this has happened. Thanks Brandon and whoever the other guys were who helped carry me out.

Oh yeah, Scott rocked!

Your welcome, had us worried for a second until you just "popped" back to reality!

You know, I pride myself on loving most everything... it's hard to turn me off, but honestly, i could not stay in the main room for G&D's set... everytime I tried, I had to leave... omg... scott had me in the mood for dark wicked prog, and then G&D came on and I just couldn't take it...lol... Their set last time they were here was a whole lot better..I just don't think that they will ever find their own sound... i dunno... Great producers, run o' the mill djs.. Josh was really nice before the set, but Dave was no where to be found till time to drop the beat...

Anyway, Let's have a nice LONGGGGGGGG break before G&D come back.. please give their spot to Hernan!!WOOHOO!! or.... ummm... Morillo.... or ummmmm even Icey... lol

you should have known what you were getting yourself into. G&D never drop "dark wicked prog." I know you were probably only there for Scott anyways, like most of us.

Na, I knew what to expect.. I had seen them before... But, this time they just weren't as together as they were the last time, and even then, they still weren't together... I dunno.. maybe I was just in an off mood this time round, cause normally I love most any live DJ set, cept minimal shit

Thumbs up

lmfao. what a weekend! yeeman rules! it was so crazy seeing no one in the club yet at around 10pm except for about 40 people packed in the front around the booth jamming to yee. oh man, you need to hurry up and post your set. from dusk till dawn, then that evil as hell 'dance' track made my jaw drop and i was equally pleased to hear dm. i hope you enjoyed yourself up there as much as we enjoyed you, scott! i doubt it'll be long before we get another yee night!

the afterhours was ridiculously shady but oh man i had a blast there! i didnt really want to leave. i was enjoying dancing so much and seeing everyone wasted out of their gourd on the couch.

karaoke night was absolutely hilarious. i dont think ill ever forget rzo sitting in the corner beligerently mumbling "buttercup" while people sang "fill me up, buttercup."

flta's, it was great seeing/meeting you guys!!! kelly, i hope you all make it up here again soon; i had a blast hanging out with you! and of course, it is always so great to see all the usual atl ta's and the new ones i met.

lots of great pics(if you want a large hq version of any of these pics, just pm me.)

click here for a very short VIDEO

of a. greg belting out billie jean (dont kill me!), b. yee and gabriel, and c. glowsticking at afterhours. i kept forgetting i could take videos with my camera, otherwise i wouldve taken more.

What a weekend.

The best part of this weekend, and the days leading up to it, was the incredible amount of support I received from everyone. It is really what I will remember about this weekend years from now. My best memory of the entire night is around 10:30pm when the club was empty except for the stage and the bar. The big crowd drew the people away from the floor and onto the stage. And wow the amazing support. Dave Dresden even committed on all your exuberance. “I see you brought your fan club with you.” - lol. If anybody should deserve credit for the getting the party started, it would be all the TAs and friends. I fed off all your energy and gave it my all. When my set ended and the music stopped for a bit, all that cheering really made my night. I really wished someone had recorded that as a movie. There are two pictures I took from the stage as I exited that really captured the moment. Hope to share it with you all soon.

People I like to specifically thank for their help with my set in some way:
Devin (Liquified) – for getting me the gig!
ThomB – my assistant DJ, A&R guy and coming all the way from fucking England
Dan (SlackerBoy9) & Alex (dahippieman) – thanks for the super dope track that I would have dropped if G&D hadn’t said they would play it too
Mario (nchs09) – thanks for the hot fire, sorry you couldn’t make it out
Fong (monkchichi) – dancing like he’s doing mortal combat on stage

So how did I feel about my set? There is definitely room for improvement. The track selection I felt was pretty good. After a few very proggy tracks in the beginning, the pace began to pick up and the cheering really helped. I died every time everyone cheered. Jordan and Kelly were super enthusiastic! To be perfectly honest, technically, my set wasn’t what I am use to delivering. There were some spotty areas especially towards the end when G&D arrived and there was a bunch of movement in the booth. Two things that gave me a hard time was the round bass in the club made it really hard to get super precise mixing and the CDJ-1000s. Something I will work on for next time, if there is one. If not, there’s always Club Scottaculous. The set will be up for everyone to hear soon.
