They are not meant to be serious mixes for those trance fanatics that need whole tracks with intro and outro but for easy listening and have a nice overview of the past year with great mash-ups and mixes between the tracks

listen to the past megamixes, they are masterpieces...

to be quite honest ive never heard one, so im gona trackdown a past one and listen. but i just think on paper, it sounds hidious.

u know in ASOT 200, part 1, he squeezed together a lot of tracks, by layering them on top of one another really well. (on the fly re-mixing really.)

it still sounded incredible. especially at the start when he mixed Motorcycle - as the rush comes (sweeping string remix), with Mike Foyle vs Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk (Mike's Broken Record Mix).
