I never mentioned anything that had to do with that.

Obviously what differentiates them is the fact that he dj's at clubs, and has tracks signed to labels. But it's something that Shawn has truely and genuinely earned. Why? Because he puts in the time and effort to produce his OWN music, and because he knows how to mix a quality set. There is a good amount of huge names out there right now that have other people (who aren't even CREDITED) produce there music, then slap their name on the track and get away with it. There are also alot of "big" dj's who can't mix to save there lives, yet, people still go ga-ga over them.

I don't doubt for ONE SECOND that their are tons and tons of bedroom dj's with huge talent. Either they enjoy doing it in the privacy of their own room rather than a club, they aren't putting their name out their enough to get gigs in clubs or tracks signed, or maybe it's just the fact that alot of big labels don't know true talent when it's right in front of them.
