I respect Judge Jules because he got me into the buisness, Because of him i now have 2 turntable a mixer and 300 tunes. He gets people into the music. One last thing, his mixing has been shit in live sets but seriously, this man can mix, no-matter what cheese he rips, he can mix well. Im nuterall here so dont fuckin flame me,

was never a big fan of Judge Jules.. I did however d/l his Qontact set it had a couple good tracks but in my mind was nothing special.. And as far as him being cheese you say all he spins is cheese now, and Qontact isn't Cheese?????????????? (pure 100% cheese)..


Euro Dance and Trance are two differen't things.. I hate how some loely producers are trying to mix them into one thing and coming out with something purely dance garbage, that will make them a ton of cash..

good trance is hard to find, and Jusge Jules doesn't bring it, for me at least... But this is all my opinion...

Blimey, he is obviously one of the biggest djs in the world, everyone knows him, and everyone has an opinion. He packs out clubs, and events, and regualrly fills judgement sundays. Ahh well.

One thing i can say is watch out, coz i dont think jj wil take losing his place at gatecrasher lying down. Maybe he will show you all. Maybe

Ive heard Judge play some rippin' sets and then I ve heard him lay down heavy formage! When he's good he's really good, when he's bad you want to strangle his ass through the speakers your listening to him with. I think judge needs to forget about the $$$ for a while and consintrate on laying down a string of Solid sets and show all the critics he still knows whats up. He plays so inconsistant it's hard to say that he's up there with the best still. You never know how the fuckin' guys going to play.

I saw Judge Jules in the Balerics BCM's , The superclub in Magaluf great place by the way . A lot of people in the world ' the dance simpletons ' think hes good cause they have not heard about John Kelly , PVD , WAY OUT WEST , BT , I COULD BE HEAR ALL DAY ' Judge is more of a spinner than creater his wife 'Angelic' is fit though and i would fuck her up the ass , Judge Has a good image for him self , like his gay clothes , big chain , thick glases etc , he aint crap but at end of the day , it is not his fault ppl are putting cameras in his face and making him big , how would you feel if someone offerd you 25,000 just for a set for 3 hours and spread ya face all over mix mag , hes got the dream life that everyone want's , if i was him i would make some of his own albums. p.s i have some embarassing photos of judge jules falling down some stairs which i might sell on :]. good day folks

Oh yeah, I'm mainly talking about the Radio One posse Scott Bond, John Kelly etc.. they realise what being a DJ is all about; namely standing in front of a large crowd and playing tunes that you know they're going to like. I know that simplifies it a bit but that's all I really ask of the DJ's I go and see.

he's got the bollox to experiment with his djing (as goes for his scratching.......uh-hum)and esp. with the style of music he plays

Sunday 11th May 2003:
Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so I thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat.
All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed, and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying.
I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated, but followed.
I asked him again if there was something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After about 10 minutes of silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh, and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up, but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me, and that he had found someone else. I cried myself to sleep.

When people come to see PvD, they mainly stand near his decks, admire his mixing, and try to catch a glimpse of him.
When people come to see other DJ's that play more accessible stuff, they come there to DANCE. There's a big difference there.

I'd much rather have a great time with great music, than try to catch this overrated "god" whose events appeal mainly to trainspotters and extreme PvD fanatics who follow him everywhere. Whereas, to quote you, the 'dance simpletons' like myself enjoy DANCEABLE MUSIC more than any specific DJ.

Da fucking hell are you talking about ?. Paul Van Dyk not only makes intelligent music but people go to hear HIS AMAZING SETS and dance yer ass off. People call him a god.......sometimes he plays like one but i don't refer to pvd as a god. He is a very good deejay. But i figure since the comment is coming from you, it is unintelligent anyways just like your opinion of pvd's music.
