The Paul van Dyk wasn't a rebroadcast as far as I now?

And always have in mind that Sunshine Live is a German radio station for german listeners!

The sets from Tiesto or Andrew Bennett are unknown to 99.5 % of the SSL listeners.

Only people who download sets or listen to the internet radio stations already heard this sets.

So you can not blame them for sending rebroadcasts, because most of the SSL listeners get their first chance to hear this sets!

This is a huge problem around us music-junkies that download any set we can grab. If it's a rebroadcast most people start to bash the DJ or the radio station. But most of the time the radio stations are in totally different regions or countries and their programm isn't meant for internet junkies but for the people who live in the region and listen to that station "the normal way".

I think that a lot people in Germany have satellite antennas and can listen Dutch radios also. TAnd i'm only mean that they receive task to make Mix, they are payed for that, so why does Tiesto send his recorded liveset from Amsterdam. That's not the point in heard it someone or don't. I agree if DJ who needs some promotion sends for free his mix CD to different radio stations. He is interested in popularizing his name, to people know more about his style, his mixing skills, maybe his tracks. Or organisators of different parties will know that DJ, and if he answere to their requirements then invite him to their parties. But famous DJs just sell their mix. They manage to sell the same Mix CD for 3-4 or even 5 times ! NU NRG became so popular thanks of course to their amazing music, but without their sets they would be famous only in clubs where they played. All people, who'd got Orgasmatron sets found a lot of good tracks, not only Dreamland, which PvD released on The Politics Of Dancing CD compilation.

Yes, i'm a liveset maniac. It's one of my hobbies to collect them! I have 800, but if i have fast internet, i would have more than 10 000(in all styles)! And of course i understand that all DJ must play the same tracks from set to set. As far as new good tracks are released, they update their recordbags. And i'm agains people which say like "PvD plays For An Angel (MVL Remix) for a half year, he fucked up with it!". He plays in different cities, or even countries. Why do another people must not to hear that track because someone heard it and don't what to do it again? From week to week (only if DJ has gigs in different cities)sets can't have huge difference just because good music isn't released so often.

I hope you understand my point of view. But i don't understand resident DJs. Do they play the same tracks every week, but in another order, or how?

Damn, i can't remove LIVE NOW! from title of the thread!

I can tell you that 99.5 % of SSL listeners for sure don't listen to dutch radio stations or download livesets so they don't know the sets before they were played at the mix session.

And trance isn't popular anymore in germany so we are happy that SSL plays some trance at all!
