well, i go to school in south bend, indiana...for those of you not familiar with it....its about 2 hrs. east of Chicago right near the Indiana-Michigan border. the people at my school suck because they all listen to the same crap (mostly DMB who i hate so much...). anyway, there are some people who listen to "techno" here, but most of the time it is Darude "sandstorm" which is really big right now...i mean, shit, that song came out like 1.5 yrs. ago...and now all the lamers are getting to it. also, what sucks is that for most clubs you have to be 21 to go...and since most of my friends aren't yet 21, we can't go. but, i've been trying to get to chicago some time. also, i live in denver, colorado when i am not at school. don't know about the scene there because none of my friends there listen to trance...ok, one actually does. but, i here its getting better...especially up in boulder, especially since there are so many university students there.
still, i can wait because you guys make it great sharing live sets and what not. also, i saw PvD about a year ago in amsterdam which was awesome...and i want to move to berlin after i graduate...and i know the scene will be huge there, esp. since PvD plays there a lot!
man...i could talk forever about trance...but, shit we got things to do, right?....well, maybe not me....

The "Impulz" parties in the Brabanthallen (25.000+ people) are almost literally in my backyard (next Saturday, hehe ), I can *walk* home afterwards or, if I didn't have the time or money to go there, listen to the bass making me bounce in my bed. Other than that, there is almost no "scene" in my town, the only place that I know of that has some good trance music, has to swap trance and R&B every half an hour or so to keep the other half of the visitors happy.
But... within a half an hour drive, I can be in Eindhoven in the Danssalon, the place where Marco V. was "born" . Within in hour, I'm in Antwerp or Rotterdam where you can find some very good places to party too... so I won't complain.
I realise I'm a very lucky person living in Holland with all these great places and big parties to have fun. It's great to have a choice. If u can, u should really come to Holland once to just to experience it.

For St. Louis - Liquid isn't that bad, its 17+ now so its a good intro to clubs type deal...
For 'real' clubbing, try the Oz (East St. Louis) on Sunday nights, and then Velvet (Washington Avenue, by the TWA Dome) for quality stuff...altho they're a bit high scale attire, prog. playing club (My style! Altho I'm not 21 yet, teehee).
