Yeah, I'm looking for the same. Here's another question I have. Does anybody know where I can record my samples onto vinyl?? I'd like to be able to start promoting myself by handing out vinyls to some bigger name DJ's. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I just read through most of the links posted, and am still having trouble finding really "beefy" explosions and gun shot effects.

How about good vocal samples such as speeches etc? anyone know about those?

i need some good nice percussion stuff and good hi-hat loops, good progressive stuff. I always have trouble with percussion

The way I look at it is, graphic designers get their stock from stock cd's. I follow this in music production. Sample CD's are a great source for sounds. Even the clearance stuff is good...
