I thought it was awesome when PvD opened with global drum attack at UMF7. that was a really exciting way of starting the party (well, at least PvD's part of it) and it made a pretty epic, suspensful introduction. I like to open with Tilt-Twelve (Original Mix) because of the way it builds up and gets going with that driving bassline after a few minutes and since the song is so ambient and good to listen to as it is.

Armin always picks a nice track to open a set with but I have to say Sasha had a really cool tune he opened with here in Philly in the Summer of 05. It had some space/spaceship theme and it really kicked the shit out of the place!

One of my favorite intros is the first few minutes of Adam Beyer & Peter Benisch - Faces. Its really chill.
