Im laughin at the fact that we should write them a letter. I mean, what are they gonna do with it? Propobly wipe their ass off because they dont have enough toilet papers in thier country. Well, me being a conservative, I would say, blow them bitches up. But im not going to say that, Go to the UN (which i hate and dont give a fuck about) and if they fail to do anything, then launch a millitary strike. Of course, with the world on our side, but nowdays, that is hard to come buy, im glad EU feels the same as the US on this issue for once.

Russia right now has a deal where it will enrich uranium together with Iranians in Russia for the Iranians. This will ensure that either uranium is bought from Russia (Iran has limited uranium deposits of its own) or that at least Russia benifits in some economic way be enriching the uranium. Where as Iran were to go it alone it would enrich its small unranium quanities to no benifit at all of Russia. |
If Iran goes it alone, then where are they going to get the uranium?? I thought that was Russia. Australia sure aren't going to supply it. Who else has it?

If Iran were a democratic, free, and stable country, without any warmongering threats, yes they would be entitled to nuke power. However, because they are one of the most fanatical and messed up governments in the world today, I don't think the world should stand by and just say, "Go ahead mullahs. Have fun! You can P.O. Box the results to Paris!". |
Untill the world is governed by a single entity, then each country certainly has a right to make their own decisions, even tho others don't necessarily like them. To deny iran the choice is trying to hold all the cards for yourself.
I do note however the dangers of them enriching Ur for themselves, and the possibility of a weapon being produced, and I agree that this needs to be prevented, otherwise they are a huge threat to Israel and the world.
On that point tho, IF they nuked Israel, they would also wipe out plaestine wouldn't they due to proximity?
I can't imagine they would want to do that.

It stands to reason that if the people will not learn from diplomacy, dialogue, and conversation, perhaps they will learn when the world uses its other tools.... |
Iran will never listen to America, they EU has way more chance of a breakthrough.
They was a program in Aus late last year (BBC) show about the history of al-qieda etc. 2 three part shows with counter arguements and it was suggested that the Iranian reigime was responsible for blowing up the US embassy in (Lebanon?) in the 80's I think, but no proof was able to be found.

You need only low-level enriched uranium to produce energy from uranium. You need high-level enriched uranium to product nuclear weapons. Think of it as like diseal and jet fuel. Russia will make sure they will only produce diseal with the Iranians. If Iran wanted to enrich its own stuff, it could very well produce jet fuel and diseal. |
Thanx for the clarification.

I would definatly agree however, your hatred for the UN is probably rooted from the fact that they are indecisive and incompetant in anything they do. So, relying on them to take any actions or move to take any actions is just silly. They rely on the United States to do everything they are too passive to do and then use the U.S. as a scapegoat. Therefore even though in theory we are on the same page, EU or the UN would never do anything.
