Yesterday between Valencia and Deportivo La Coruña a stupid fan threw (what should be a mobilephone battery) on one of the linesmen. Nothing is decided more than there's going to be discussions and decisions about the match today.

The match started out pretty badly and the supporters of Mestalla started singing about the referee after Carlos Marchena got a red card in the 9th minute of the match. The thing was thrown at the linesman in the late first half. Match was interrupted.

In 2003/04 King's Cup, the macth between Castellón (my home team) and Valencia (a true rivalry, born in the '30s) was suspended after a fan threw a mobile battery (and hitted the ref), because of a misscalled penalty against Castellón (1-1 atm).

The last 12 minutes were played days after, without fans: Valencia missed the PK, but scored in the keeper clearance. The match finished 1-3, after VCF scored the last goal in a counterattack (that started thanks to a PK not called against Valencia...).

Castellón's field (Castalia) was banned 4 matches, playing those 4 games in El Madrigal (Villarreal).

I remember Real Madrid and Real Betis played a match which lasted for like 43 minutes, The match was called off after the floodlights was fucked up at Betis stadium. Anyways, It's not the same thing. But yes, It could be like that.

It's wicked how I was cheering for Atléti tonight! I even got the right result, 3-2 and we won thanks to Petrov and Maxi. Thanks our second in the row now!

Serie A Weekend:

Saturday 4/2 2006
18:00 / Málaga vs. Athletic Bilbao
20:00 / Real Madrid vs. Espanyol
22:00 / Deportivo vs. Valencia

Sunday 5/2 2006
17:00 / Villarreal vs. Cádiz
17:00 / Real Zaragoza vs. Real Betis
17:00 / Racing Santander vs. Celta Vigo
17:00 / Real Sociedad vs. Mallorca
17:00 / Getafe vs. Alavés
19:00 / Barcelona vs. Atlético Madrid
21:00 / Sevilla vs. Osasuna

As usual there's top matches, this week is even better when my Atléti is playing at Nou Camp. We're in pretty good form and can beat Barcelona who should be very greedy for a win after being eliminated by Zaragoza in Copa del Rey (Atléti was also eliminated by Zaragoza on the way in Copa del Rey).

Deportivo La Coruña is playing against Valencia at Riazor, should be a great match. Real Madrid playing Espanyol, which I believe can beat Real, Hopefully they will. Sevilla vs. Osasuna is another very good match and I can bet that Sevilla will win against the Basques..
