voters already have an idea of who they want to vote for. they look for reinforcement to validate their view. i love how jayx1 does the opposite to inflame voters to do the opposite of what he wants them to do. conservatives should walk out with a minority, but for the undecided, these threads will push them towards the liberals rather than away. most TOTAs feel they are above it all to read the toronto sun, let alone affect their behaviour. posting this will validate their own view to not associate themselves with the toronto sun, thus having the opposite effect and they will vote against the toronto sun view.

I don't disagree that there are many reasons not to vote liberal, and if there was the Conservative party of yester-year (more libertarian, and less socially conservative) as an option, maybe I wouldn't have voted liberal today, but stephen's harper's vision of canada is not the future I want for Canada.
