tis chicken broth, ye proclaim correctly sir! |
i know. what's up with detroit and having the stones perform ? would have been better with aretha franklin , stevie wonder, eminem , and kid rock, since aretha and stevie represent motown , and kid and eminem represent detroit, so they will get the crowd rocking . you know everyone "still goes crazy" hearing bawitdaba . that song gets everyone wild, especially when kid screams , ' my name is kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddddd ...'

But two bullshit calls decided that game, and they were obviously crap calls. The offensive interference in the first half was bullshit, not only was it not an interference but that is one of the stupidest calls in football.
Second was the blocking call in the 4th, wtf, even John Madden was like "I didn't see any blocking!"
Third, and its debatable, the TD before the half from every angle looked like it never went in.
I will put this up as the worst called game, and to prove I am not biased because its my team, we should have gotten called on that fumble earlier, but they didn't. |
I completely agree with you about the first offensive interference call. That was a touchdown, and it was complete BS that they ruled that interference. If they called those like that all the time Jerry Rice would never have caught a TD pass in the superbowl. (He used to shove off like crazy)
However I will disagree w/ you on the Roethlisberger TD, as it looked like it crossed the white stripe, and they had the best ref in the NFL look at it up close and personal on the video screen. Although I'm sure Seattle's coach disagrees. Boy did he look PISSED at halftime.
And how about the umpire diving into the pile on that one play?! I've never seen a ref get that physical before.
