Look, it's not you personally, it's all of the kids who are the same age as you that don't come for the music, but because of the scene. It's like, "Ooh, Crobar, I've heard that place is an awesome club with some easy bitches to grope. Let's put on our identical shirts and go hit that up because we can get in tonight."

No, I agree with you. Unfortunately, that's the way that it is. I mean, just look at how many people have said they're not going to this if it's 18+.
Sasha was awful with those kids on Friday. From what I heard, Spirit wasn't that much better, either. Didn't you complain about all the Lee Hotti kids, too? I know there were a lot of those comments in the review thread.

See... I go to have fun, dance, and enjoy the music. Most, not all, of the 18+ crowd goes there for the reasons Ryan said.
When Crobar is 21+, I have never seen "circles" form in the middle of the dance floor. At 18+, "circles" take up about 40% of the dance floor. Granted, it wasn't that way for Sasha because it was too packed to do that. But, when one did open up by me, I quickly moved to the inside to try and close it up. Nothing gets me more annoyed than "circles" at clubs when there is already limited room to dance at 2am.

Haha, that reminds of a theory on girls I developed while being girls. I noticed girls always travel with enough companions to form a cirlce; but dude that is sig worthy qoute, hahaha.

*edit* and addix, i think if you try to argue your point, you'll begin to categorize yourself to that age bracket let alone maturity tier. not trying to knock you but usually when you are outspoken about the 18+ and not 21+ thing, it means you're lacking the maturity level. a mature approach to the situation would be to not even address the age limit at all (whether you can or can not go). it's the fact of the matter, when you get past 23 you'll understand what I'm saying....that's a metric for maturity. |
Hahaha! Well... it wasn't only drinking that night. But... put liquor in front of me and I'm down for the count nearly every time.
As for the edit, I completely agree. I think everyone of us, when we were under the age of 21, thought that we weren't included in the group when people talked bad about 18+ events. Now, I completely see it. When I am at Crobar for an 18+, I look at my friend every time and say "Well... we can't really complain because... we were 18 once." You'll totally see when you get there.
Man... I'm not even old but I totally feel that way.
