2) you vote for a party, not 1 person. thus, if your leader led an attack on a country that proved bullshit, and your popularity was languishing and most constituents wanted you gone, your party could remove you & change policies without waiting another 4 years. nice!

You also have freedom of speech should you decide to exercise that right. You have the right to be a nice person or a jerk. If people don't want to vote that is their problem. Why not this topic? It's a MAJOR part of the Constitution, and it was a favorite of the Framer's who wrote it. It's one of our "rights" that too many are so quick to discount, yet one that the framers considered vital given history and oppression.

And if you knew ANYTHING about armed resistance and history, both recent and distant, you'd know that MANY a lightly armed guerilla force has been able to fend-off the total domination by a fully equiped military.
