I have had the numark for almost a year now and my crossfader leaked four or five times during a six hour house party i did so you be the judge. I have never heard of leaky crossfaders with the vestax. Just get the vestax because can always get outboard effects later which sound a whole lot better too.

if you wanna have a solid mixer and be able to record all in one with it without having to buy an external sound card card go for Mackie D.2 an award winning mixer, I am gonna get my hands on one soon

I got a feeling that Mackie D.2 is going to be wayyy out of his price range... or the price range of any 2ch mixer.

Well, it is a 2-channel mixer. But, yeah, they go for $500, without the firewire card, so I don't really know what prism is thinking.
