Hallå där,
Yup, incase you didn't know, Nem is a swede.
Ok, listened to your track.
I know the sound you are going for. Sounds very Waterworld/Alphazone.
You have succeeded on that count no doubt.
The melodies and over all structure are great.
The downfall of the track is the way it's EQd.
A lot of people are complaining about the lack of kick and how it needs more punch.
In my opinion it sounds more like you need to take the bottom end out of your mid to high sounds as that's what is making it muddy. At the beggining of the track you have the kick quite defined but you need to keep that all the way through.
The pads don't need lower frequencies as that will interfere with you basses and the kick.
You may also want to roll off the frequencies on the kick below 60hz and the bass below 90 hz as there are a lot of frequencies that use up valuable headroom even though they can't be heard.
This will also stop your bassline from chewing up the frequencies in the kick. You then need to start working your way up on the various components of the track and work out what you can get rid of on the EQ without loosing the character of the sound.
You also need to bring out the HiHats/Percussion in the track as this would sound terrible on a dancefloor in it's present state.
Over all a really nice tune.
Can I ask what you used to make this?
everyone who gave negative comments on this track deserves to be shot.
this track is superb, im still waiting for the finished version, hopefully you will get it signed to. good luck
Thx for the input on the track will take it in concideration! I used Cubase and some VSTi's for this one. M-Audio monitors for monitoring.
It's sometimes hard to get the right sound in a track on different soundsystems. I thought it sounded quite ok when I listened at home. But I guess not:P

This is indeed a very epic trancer. It has an oldschool feel to it that's accompanied by a monsterous storm of synths that DRIVE this track to amazing heights.
I'm very much impressed.
Nemesis44 has some very strong insights that I feel are very much logical.
Thank you for sharing.

this is intense I love it... your kick is fine.. I wouldn't worry about it at all... ewww.... some acid squelch (me likes)... heh... maybe i'm just noticing some of the lower end stuff could actually be boosted, some of the high end stuff could be lower just a hair more.... apart from that... very very full sound all throughout the track me likes... keep up the good work.... this is so awesome .... oooooh sick melody at 3:44 and then detune .... wowzer..... some glitch in you melody
kewl.... you do realise that this "sample" is alot longer than lots of stuff on here
anyway... thats how your tune left me... bye
