You think thats bad I wish you could see what I see every day. Little black kids wearing red and blue bandanas here in New York thinking they are all gangstas and have to die for their colors(the ongoing battle with the bloods and crips) which spread here back in '93 when those Fucks from L.A. started annitiating little dumb confused black and hispanic kids to their L.A. Gangs and from '93 to '95 there was a lot of innocent people who got robbed shot and stabbed in the New York Subways and those were because of the procedures they had to go through to be accepted into the bloods. It was all fucked up. I remember the images I saw on a site that couldn't be shown on t.v. like this old lady who had her left cheek cut completely open by a razor blades that the bloods carry around. Its the new generation of black kids who grew up in the ghetto/projects that are forced to this lifestyle. You would have to live where I live or any other fucked up areas to really get a understanding of what I mean. That teacher deserved to be suspended for using the term "nigga" that term is accepted amongst blacks and hispanics where I live at, he had no right to call him a Nigga at all and I'm sure that dumb little black kid encouraged him in a way to say it. The story sounds too one sided to me.

No one is forced to do anything. These conformist-gangstas are just too weak to do what they want; thus they suffer and take shit all day.

I hang out with 9TreyGangstas here in the bronx. They are the biggest blood chapter(a division) in N.Y. They do it to feel wanted in a society that rejects them. So they turn to gangs for the money power and so called respect. The majority are to lazy and not up to working a regular job or starting a career. The majority grew up in poverty and did not have the benefits the working middle to upper class families have. The majority of them don't even know who their real father is and/or have families that split, on drugs, in prison or dead. I have to disagree with you in a way, they are attracted to that lifestyle because it is all around them. I really can't get into too much detail because it would end up being a really big post. But thats only my personal experience in the bronx, I'm sure it is different in other areas outside of N.Y.

I came to America with my family--we had nothing. I lived in the city for 9 years before moving to the suburbs. My parents worked hard to get where we are. I still believe all of these kids are weak...I have a few friends who are in poverty going to U Penn. Excuses don't make a man.

Oh I never said they weren't weak. Not only are they weak but they are a "virus" to society and have ruined so many lives and neighborhoods and in a lot of ways spread to the suburbs influencing kids to join gangs and carry weapons. It's hard for families to live a healthy normal life with these thugs running around causing chaos. But I understand what your trying to say. Good point.

Thanks, more props to you if you live in the ghetto and still retain yourself.

I love the word nigga! It got me out of jury duty last week. Some black guy supposedly robbed a bunch of people at gunpoint and was caught driving a stolen car. During the jury interview one of the lawyer's asked, "Is there any reason why you feel you wouldn't be able to sit on this jury and judge without any prejudice". I said, "No." "Why's that?". I said, "look at him, this nigga is guilty!"

Nowdays words like "nigga" "bitch" or "dog" are either negative and positive, but its all depending on realations between people and the con text.
If the teacher used it as an insult (to which he admitted at the beggining of the interview) then he was rightfuly punished.

Too bad we don't find out why he was previously suspended from that school.

And yeah the story seems fishy as hell. But I can only imagine the kind of pressure a teacher goes through at times and it's only unfortunately natural for them to potential blowup one day.
