El~Zapo beat me to it; he is exactly right.

Yo, Inatrance! I think that, if you buy the pads (thereby increasing the comfort by a factor of 10...) you will probably wanna change your pic. You are borderline in what you want, deciding for yourself, which is good, but I think you should check that out...

damn, having too many email address gets confusing, turn out they did ship it on the 4th and its scheduled delivery date is the 11th.. thats next monday and i can't wait until i get my new headphones!.. i wouldn't normally think it would take an entire week for ups to deliver something accross the country but i guess they are slow.. speaking of slow, the us postal service gets a big thumbs down from me, i had a record shipped on 1/22 and it didn't arive until 2/4, thats a total of 13 days to get only 3000 miles.. bah.. shipping sucks because i hate waiting for stuff that i already paid for.

Cool

Not me, no way, I had a pair and hated them, I prefer my MoS DJ-1001s much more, and I do believe that the V6s are better than the V700s though, the V700s look nicer though.

Project, ever try any of the other headphones I mentioned? As you are in the UK, the V6's and 7506's wouldn't be *THAT* great of a buy... heck, the Beyerdynamic DT250-80's would be a whoooolllle lot better in comfort than the V6's, and the two Sennheiser ones are really awesome, depending on what features you need. Are you gonna consider looking at the three european ones that I have suggested?

I tried the DT250-80s and they had a sort of tacky feeling to them, not quite sure why though. I also had a listen through some of the more expensive sony cans, and they felt fiddly and tacky, the v6s I would pick over them any day, the v6s are the best in the sony range, but I just have an extreme personal preference for the MoS DJ-1001s, I dunno why but they just go with me so well. I think headphones are about personal preference more than anything else, just as long as you try out as many models as you can. Also I tried a pair of Stanton headphones, they had a real nice sound to them, even at very loud volumes with minimal distortion, but they were built so crappy. It was like being at a good party with the speakers falling apart.

Sorry if I am beginning to rabbit on

You do realise that you have so incredibly have to try the two Sennheisers now, don't you? And, I dunno, if there is anything I wouldn't call the Beyer's, it's "Flimsy".. they are pretty tank-like...
