But on the other hand if you are doing the tunes for yourself you are free to use anyones sound. It's just that this basslines have been whored to death by so many now hardly anyone will remember tunes like this one i 3 months.

i know mate, but if you actually listen to my dj sets, you would say something else.. im playing everything from axwell, ozgur can, to ur so called andy moor tracks, and more regular trance. Try check recent tracklists of mine at this board.

ofcause its not my goal to sound to much like anybody else, i produce in the lines of what i like the most. And ofcause il take it into concideration for future tracks. But again, its hard to make something that nobody have made before, though we will try to do so.

I do have something against producers parading as technically gifted individuals when all they have done is hum their idea or choose what direction to go with their sound technician.

2 Niklas,
Your site is currently not loading here but i'm looking forward to viewing the pages for your praise of your studio partner
Might restore some of my faith in you away from this topic.

and i can honestly say that im not. I basicly just enjoy doing what i do with my partner in crime, and just being happy if anybody likes what we do.

yeah dont know why it was down, webserver update or something, should be back up soon!

believe me. you will get bored too really soon. any sound that is whored to death dies out. so did goa trance in the 90s.
you propably think that Probspot, Andy Moor and Schulz are your trance heroes today but within 3 years no one want to be associated with the sound they resemble.

funny enough Özgur Can and Axwell are the ones who practically every djs play now; Armin, Schulz etc. and I honestly cant think of any good tune Özgur made lately. Not anything new under the sun.

With broaden your horizon I meant that you should check out other djs who doesn't play the typical ASOT material.

and the discussion goes on... i guess that was a bad example then, try look at the latest tracklist of mine:
http://www.uktrancealliance.com/for...34&hl=westbronx

dont know if that is the usual asot tracks? ofcause there will be some, in ur so called term. Cause thats the direction i preffer. But im still listning to a wide name of dj's in different genres. did it become criminil to preffer a certain genre? or am i now only allowed to listen and play tracks, that is so underground, that nobody have heard of any of the producers before?

im not so much into underground either.
it's just that its boring to see people copying the top djs tracklists and playing out the same tunes.
there is loads of great non-underground trance out there which isnt highlighted because Armin or Tiesto doesnt play it.

My opinion of that is simple - they're the ones most widely available too. You could pretty much chart the release date of digital releases by analysing ETN dj's playlists!

Unfortunately on the most part i think those guys have some kind of justification that it works or that its a good track because it was selected by XXXX uber-dj.

01. Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms (Club Mix) ISOS5
02. Niyaz - Dilruba (Junkie XL Remix)asot
03. Supermodels From Paris - Keep On (JC1 Remix)asot/anjuna
04. Kings of Tomorrow - 6pm (Mark Knight & Martijn Ten Velden Mix)
05. Sam Perez & Dariush - Across The Ocean (Max Graham Remix)
06. ID
07. Yoshimoto - Du What U Du (Trentemĝller Mix) who isn't?
08. Group Therapy Featuring Nat Leonard - Faith Again (Luke Chable Vocal Mix)
09. James Holden - A Break In The Clouds (The Lamp Chops Whaddyamean It's Super Tigga Rigga Wigga Mix)
10. Swoop - Black Market (Özgür Can Remix)
11. JDOTP - Sharing Is Caring
12. A Boy Called Joni - Green Astronauts tijs
13. ID
14. Blank & Jones - Revealed (Niklas Harding Remix)
15. HKN - What If I Do
16. Glenn Frantz - Final Round
17. Lange vs. Gareth Emery - Three asot
18. Nic Chagall - Monday Bar lol
19. San & Sebastian Moore - Night Eyes (Niklas Harding Presents Blackout Remix)

I'll concede there is some interesting inclusions actually.

After one listen I think that original is better one. Niklas Harding Remix is good one too, but I have to agree what you have said before. Bassline is too much Andy Moorish. But anyway two nice versions.

Rebel9 You seem to come off pretty childish in this thread.

Every accusation you had for hawadi he explained and yet you still look for a reason to argue.

Hawadi plays ASOT style of shit, its his choice, just because you dont like it is hardly a reason to change his style.

You guys are biting his head off for something a billion of other DJs are doing everyday.

Hawadi is still very very young, takes many years to make your own style, you think Cox, Morillo, Guetta came up with their style after a year or 2 ? try 15.
