Really nice mix....no where near as good as Fabric 20 though IMO...

But I've only listened through twice...

Everything made or compiled by John is great. He has such a good taste.

Wow, you just gave me a reason to listen before buying this one.

I haven't heard everything he's done, but so far, I think Fabric 20 is the worst mix release I've heard from John.

I thought Fabric 20 was rather fresh and had alot of interesting tracks on it. The flow was abit weird, but so were the tracks, and I think he made them work very well together.

This is a good comp, but the tracks arent as interesting to me as those on fabric 20...maybe cause I've heard most of them alot already.

Maybe since I started to work like a madman and not listen to as much music as I used to, things really changed. I understand that most of the music these days tends to lean towards electro and tech house (the watery kind ;( ). Anyway, the PR people sent me a copy of this and I personally think that its poor and I'm wondering what the hell happened to the forward thinking Digweed. Yes he used to play progressive then trance and then progressive house but this mix starts decently but then goes into boring electro. Maybe I did miss the fucking chance for the bandwagon, but music is so dull these days. I expected better from ol diggers but transistions is absolutely horrible.

Digweed Transitions

Transitions is much better than Fabric 20. I've listened to it quite a bit since getting it and think its the best mix CD I've bought in a long time. Digweed has been kicking ass recently with his Transitions show and his live sets.

Indeed, I have to agree. I bought this over a month ago, and it has never been far away from my thoughts... the mixing is amazing, especially the mix into and out of Neontrance, which is one of the best tunes of the album I would say. Roots 4 acid is another majestic tune, oozing with emotion. Fantastic mix CD.
