Rebel, I wasn't referring to you bro. Just the elitest attitude in general that is often held on this board regarding music.

Yeah, I was thinking about how the dude has everyone vital to EDM moving out from the underground listed 'to die' in his sig.

What a tooly-tool tool.

OK, heres the problem. If your definition of full on extends only to the top 10 israeli artists, then ofcourse your going to find it all the same. The thing is, if psytrance isnt dark/nighttime (eg: Kindzadza), twisted (eg: double REL) progressive (eg: Ticon), minimal (eg:Sensient) or suomi (who cares) then by classification it pretty much comes under full-on psytrance. I think a lot of the people who are bagging full-on think of it as being GMS, Eskimo, Infeced Mushroom, Astrix, Skazi or more of that commercial stuff.

I'm not trying to be a genre cock here, but people need to wake up and realise that full on counts for maybe half the psy music produced all over the world. And although for some reason its deemed cool on TA to bag anything that isnt progressive, techno or house, the rest of the psytrance world has a lot of respect for the artists making this style of psy and elitists are just making themselves look ignorant in comparison by slamming something they dont really understand.

If anyone feels like re-defining their understanding of modern full -on, I'd say try out Slum, Phi, Phyx, Tron, Twisted System, Alternatice Control, Hydraglyph, Misted Muppet, Rinkadink, Audiotec, Protoculture, Bizarre Contact, Vibe Tribe, Ultravoice, Lish, Xerox & Illumination for starters. Also, really try and get out to an outdoors party and experience it in the right context. Otherwise, seriously stop slamming it, because those of us who do like it know a fuck load more about it than those who slam and we can see the elitist wankery for what it is. You cant be arsed to find the good acts or it isnt to your taste? Then fair enough... thats not our problem. Full on isnt some uplifting cheese and deserves a fuckload more respect than what a few narrow minded people here give it.
