I am never suprised by Jayx1's comments. Only suprised that people continue to get so angry at them.

People will continue to believe what they want.

But just a tidbit of information on women's rights....

-Did you know that in Pakistan a woman can only claim rape if 4 witnesses can step forward?

-Did you know that in the DRC- democratic republic of congo, a woman is not allowed to do anything without the consent of her husband?

-Did you know that in most war torn parts of africa, a woman whether child or adult that has been raped is seen "unfavoured" and therefore rejected from their society?

I can go on and on...

This day is a celebration for many women to exercise their voice, because so many are not living in western standards, and may never live to make their own decisions.

i dont wanna say that i agree 100% with jay but he has some valid points there. here in canada feminists and man hating lesbians have totally wrong idea whats this all about and they're screwing this up for all you nice girls. it is a day to feel extra special but its not that special that you can say "fuck it, we dont need this day no more", cause you do and we (the man) need it too. maybe you wont believe it but some of us guys are actually normal and nice people and we love to make the women in our life feel like queens, especially on this day.

that is soooo opposite to what i said.

i was trying to say, that first of all, i didn't even know it was women's day until i saw a post here on TA. which means that it's not such a big deal anymore for anyone. i wasn't saying that i was mad that i didn't know about it. i was saying that it's sort of good because it's something that has become not so necessary for me. i

i couldnt care less if they have a special day or not, same as i dont care if men or DJs or firemen have a day dedicated to them or not.

i like my mom and *heart* all my chick friends in my life regardless of a day named specially for them
