While true, they are in a period of instability but let's not kid ourselves, that problem already existed but was snuffed by Saddam and his henchmen.
This needs to be played out and to say it wasn't expected would be very shortsighted indeed.
I'd like to see the Canadians get a little more involved as they tend to gel with the locals a little better than our American counterparts (no offence to our Americans brothers )

Thats bullshit,Iraq was in a much better shape then it is now.There were no terrorist attacks and no Al Quada when Saddam was in charge.
