I was under the impression that this was a progressive trance set, but its all prog house with subtle hints of trance in between. Although this is not what I expected I still listened so here’s what I think: As in your previous mixes there exists your signature style and essence that oozes out of every one your sets. I can’t say I feel any different than I did listening to your other sets. You have a style that works for you and your returning listeners but I simply cannot get into it. At first I thought it was your track selection, but then I realized it’s acquired taste so my reviews are limited to the technical side of dj’ing. With that said, you’ve come a long way from your double beat days as dinoXpress and overall you have finally mastered the skill that is mixing (ie volume leveling, beatmatch, flow, etc) so kudos to you for that.
One thing I can criticize you on is your perception of progressive trance. If this is truly your idea of progressive trance then you have a lot to learn my friend. In fact I’m coming out with a progressive trance mix pretty soon so look out for that one and trust me, you’ll notice the difference between house and trance.
I really enjoyed this. I will keep this set in my best mixes of all time folder. Looking forward to your next mix. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
