This is so real for me because if it wasn't for people like you and others who are willing to provide those without a strong knowledge of trance, them having only seen what's shown on the outer level an incite to real trance. It truly is all about the music to me and only when I started really getting into trance did I find listeners who felt the same. I can't say that about any other type of music. I'm gonna say it like this, and its totally out of context but a good example of a way over commercialized genera of the music industry would be rap/r&b. That's something deep right there prolly keep me writing for decades!!!

People who have the ability relay incite leaving the receiving person without feeling any apprehension; whether it be in the act of asking or apon receipt of an answer all the while never expecting anything in return, has is a quality which requires so much praise and often overlooked by many. More trance addicts possess this quality than I feel any other genera even attempts to try.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this again!I think Sugarbean's post depicts a lot of how we started,but how about those few that like commercial trance and go to a rave bc they think it'll be played,I put a lot of the blame on the newbies (among many others)for the deterioration of raving over the years.A couple months ago I carried my niece out of a rave bc she liked listening to alice DeeJay and thought it might be played there among chem bros.,crystal method,etc...I think this happens a lot ever since raves have been labeled as "teen hang-outs"by the media,and the young kids that want to fit in are so naive they're unprepared(similar to my niece)it is those kids that eventually fall into the life of drugs!part of myself would be missing had I never heard BrainBug and got into trance some time afterwards,but is it worth it to lose something we love over the ignorance/naivety of kids that believe raving is the "cool" thing to do.Had I known that when I started raving I was deteriorating the vibe for others I probably would've never continued!I suppose I was a lucky person and avoided the pressures of drugs but not all newbies do ,in fact as we all can see,most don't avoid the temptation!

I totally agree with Sugarbean. The commercial trance is not so good, but because of this commercial thing, more people get interested in trance, and that is a good thing, i think.
