this is why i believe there should be a mandatory "NO-posting" probationary period when you first register... if n00bs took the time to lurk and read TA before they started posting, they'd learn how things work around here and therefore not get flamed to shit when they made their first post/thread.

Pros and cons to that - you hear a sample in the Unknown tracks section and you want to ID it - but, can't // someone asks a question about something and you want to answer it - but, can't.

On another forum I participate in, The first two posts you make have to be approved by a moderator, and if you clear the test you get to stay.
