well, since me = christian as well, I think I should put my opinion here as well.
In the beginning, I was indeed a bit offended by the lyrics, but when I downloaded it last week I finally got the chance to listen to it good.
most stuff is already said over here... my conclusion: IF mv is pointing at God (as: the one and only) he doesn't know much 'bout HIM.
God doesn't wares a crown and makes you bow (only when you pray, not: now all bow or else you die or something) (don't think mv IS pointing at him...==>> A godd)
so, he is probably pointing at everything you think is VERY important in your life and cannot deal without it (these things can be 'gods' as well).
then he is ASKING if you believe in him (or the lyrics do): well, I don't, DEFINATELY DONT see him as 'god', so I (in my mind) always think a clear NO, whether he is pointing at the christian God or just some other 'god'.
at this moment: I'm not offended anymore, put some extra power on the speakers when I hear the song!!

mm.. kk well I am just going to post one more on this subject
honestly, it does not offend me, I've actually never even heard the song, because my radio rip was so bad. but what I was trying to say in the first place is that, if someone is offended, someone is offended.. but then again people are offended by almost anything and everything.
hmm.. the more I think about it, the more I think that Marco V, is reffering to "Godd" or "a Godd" as the material possesions in their life.
Example: Say somebody just bought a brand new car, and everyday they clean this car, and nurture it, and avoid people just to be with their car (basically worshiping it) I was gonna add put up and alter.. ya but maybe that is going to far

okay it is my opinion that he is saying such material possesions, like the car, control people's lives, making the bow down.. because it consumes so much of their life; and that is why he is asking "a god"
I am no genious.. so whatever.. sorry if I've been pissen people off, I just think in general that we've got a pretty "atheistic" group.. and I am only saying this because of past discussions about God, and religion, etc. ..and just the overall feeling I get from people when such a topic is discussed; so I am just trying to be the one stickin up for those who are religious but not saying anything.
I'm not gonna post anymore, so plz don't flame me

The first line reads: A true. B true. A or B true. A and B true. So in that line they are equivalent, BUT not in ALL LINES!
This may not seem correct intuitively, as in plain english OR is usually interpreted (and meant!) as (A v B) & -(A & B) <---(A OR B) AND NOT (A AND B). So you may be right about how you should take up the OR in plain english. But if you use the word logic to empower your words....this doesn't fly!

FYI computational logic has different theorems and laws than theoretical logic. I didn't take computational logic, although i am familiar with it, and i did have a course on discreet technology (digital chip programming with the binary system.....)
The thing is we are BOTH right here.... you misread what i originally said, however. Yes, A and B can both be trues in a table, but i'm referring to output.... You can only have 1... NOT two. But computational logic isn't the same as theoretical logic... In theoretical logic, there can not be two trues in an OR statement. You don't have to be a genius to figure this out. In fact, even morons can compute this in their brains. If someone asks you if you want this OR that..... you can't have both. Use common sense.
Anyway i think the thread's original problem has been solved.

yes, some may find it a bit offensive.
I'm sure it was a sample that marco v stumbled upon, I'm sure he doesn't mean to offend anyone.
I personally don't really care for this tune. Take out the lyrics, and what have you got? not much.
c mon guys, marco v isn't exactly the worlds best lyricist, I don't know why some of you are taking it this far.
