Hahaha.
Yeha, I know. Northern Exposure always kept me at a distance, for some reason. I'm very selective about my Sasha stuff. |
DA, you really, really need to check out these two discs:
Sasha & Digweed "Northern Exposure II: East Coast"
1. Believe- Gus Gus
2. Soothe (Chicane Mix)- Furry Freaks
3. Burn the Elastic- Violet vs Mantronik
4. Geomantik- Prana
5. Cycles of Time- The Acoustic Hoods
6. Dammerung- Frontisde
7. Blue (Original and LP Mix)- Doi-Oing
8. Little Bullet (Part One)- Spooky
9. Botz- Uberzone
10. Reeferendum- Fluke
11. Distant Voices (Angel Edit)- Lost Tribe
12. Purple- Gus Gus
13. Symphony- Hybrid
Sasha & Digweed "Northern Exposure II: West Coast"

1. Superstring - (with Cygnus)
2. Fusion - (live, with Speedy J)
3. 3.2 - (with Humate)
4. Accident In Paradise, An - (William Orbit & Spooky remix, with Sven Vath)
5. Panfried - (Original/Mind Over Matter mixes mix, with The Light)
6. Solar Cycle - (Arrangement Two, with Third Man)
7. Netherworld - (Jules Vern mix, with LSG)
8. Waters (Phase III) - (with Taucher)
9. Teach Me - (Mantra's Clean & Serene remix, with Art Of Silence)
10. Enervate - (with Transa)
11. Blue Fear - (with Armin)
You'd probably dig the West Coast (Enervate ---> Blue Fear = AMAZING ) more than the East, but the East Coast disc is still my favorite. I'm still trying to get my hands on copies of Frontside - Dammerung, the Chicane remix of "Soothe," and especially the version of Gus Gus - "Believe" that opens up the East Coast disc.
These are the discs that when I first listened to them years back, I instantly knew I'd be a Sasha & Digweed fan for a long time.
Edit: Also, I just threw the West Coast disc on and I forgot just how unreal the Superstring ----> 3.2 opener is. These discs along with Oakie's "Resident:: Two Years of Oakenfold @ Cream" are pretty much the reason I'm into dance music of any form.
