He plays just like DT nowadays. Some minimal with tribal and tribal tech. His classic sound definitely lacked last nite. DJs need to stop experimenting, SERIOUSLY. Actually, last hour wasnt so bad. The last track he ended with was NASTY.

I felt like CRAP and had to leave at 3

The first hour I the man had me dancing, then after that, I dunno if it was because I starting feeling bad or if it was Cox, but I just wasn't into it...I had to leave....
(I shoulda just stayed bc the trains were faked last night and it took me two hours to get home to upper Manhattan)

Hope everyone else had fun (MERE!!!) ....I just couldn't hang last night...

Crobar was crowded as HELL (fallout from club closings I assume), way too crowded for my taste. So many meatheds. That said...I didnt think I was gonna love Carl, but he absolutely killed me. Loved every minute of it. Watching him twitch his shoulders to the beat made me so giddy.

Sounds like a good time!! I wish i could have made it up for this I was mesmorized by the man in Miami!!

Maybe it was because I was a bit worn out from closing out Sasha & Digweed, but I wasn't really impressed last night. I'm not saying it wasn't fun, but I thought he was better in October and on NYE. We walked through the tunnel at almost the exact time Carl walked on stage to get ready to play, so we missed most of Serge's set, but caught that "This is Miami" track that everyone's been talking about.

And yeah, it was really crowded with meatheads and their bimbo girls last night, even up in the VIP area, where we hoped to escape when we got a bit claustrophobic. It amazes me how different the crowd is between Fridays and Saturdays.
