Minimal's like any other genre - there's good stuff and there's bad stuff. I can see why people find it "boring" (a lot of it really isn't that dancefloor friendly) but for me it's the genre where the most innovative, interesting sounding EDM is coming from atm.

It's become pretty "trendy" over the past few months, but I can't see it becoming as ubiquitously popular as electro was in 2005, prog was in 2002-2003 or trance was in 1998-2000.
