Since you haven't seen it I don't want to give it away too much. It starts off with a kid around 13 years of age. Feeling let down by many of the restrictions of being too short and too young he makes one wish. He wish was too become 'Big'. He didn't make this wish out of the blue. He was at a carnival and approached a black magic coin slot machine. The black magic machine spits out a card saying 'his wish is granted' but nothing happens. The next morning he wakes up as an adult (Tom Hanks). He escapes his house because his own mom drove him out with a knife believing he was a robber. Through the trials and tribulations of being big he falls in love with a woman from some big toy company he was working for. Throughout the whole movie he becomes more and more homesick and is dying to find that black magic machine again. In the end he is faced with the decision to stay big (adult) or go back to becoming a kid. The sad part was the way he split up with his girlfriend at the toy company and how he was treating his best friend. I know my explanation does not do this movie justice but it's an excellent viewing. As usual Tom Hanks delivers a top notch performance.

Fight Club is bizarre but it's not very predictably which makes it good. Braveheart always good.
