Driving 21 hours straight to New Orleans often makes me feel like I am the sketchbag riding shotgun! So yes I can imagine how much fun it would be for someone like that.

Okay I'm probably the biggest loser here...I hit my brother-in-law's car!!! Backed right into it and boom...damaged both of our cars...the best was the phone call afterwards saying don't be alarmed but I kinda, sorted hit your parked car by accident. LOL...I dunno who gave me my driver's license.

The best part is since I drive a bimmer most people think I'm a great driver...lil do they know!

I remember driving down a country road and hitting a bird at about 120-130kmph.

Normally I would have thought it would have just poofed into a giant feather explosion, but all I heard was "thunk" and it was gone. I was a little concerned as to where it might have gone, but I didn't see it anywhere.

Literally about 6-7 seconds later I was still looking (while driving) and all of a sudden, in my rear-view mirror I see a bird nose-diving into the pavement straight down. Must have hit the perfect angle on the windshield to just go straight up.

I felt a little sad, but it was more of a "Holy shit!" reaction in the end.

Cale just texted me to tell me that he almost hit an entire family of ducks running across the 401...he said he didn't think they'd make it

Saddest thing ever.

I was behind a semi doing about 110 and about to pass him when he suddenly swerved like a badass on to the shoulder itself and almost off the highway completely. Then I saw the ducks.

1 female duck, followed by about 12 ducklings, and she kept herding them to hurry up and cross. The little ones were being blown about by the wind from the truck ahead of me, so I hammered the brakes - thankfully they were all blown into the other lane.

Poor ducks

I was driving home on I-75 West when a bird just crossed in front of me and got whacked right in the windshield. Was doing like 85 MPH. I actually managed to catch a glimpse of it as it went over my roof and onto the pavement thru my rear-view mirror.

you know... i was thinking. What does that really teach the ducks?! I mean, you've just trained them that its ok to get in the way of big things... silly humans would rather kill themselves than hit one of us... they'll end up getting a sense of invulnerability, and what could be worse than ducks with an invulnerability complex. eek.

I thought your name was "gouranga." That combined with the topic of this thread made me laugh pretty hard until I realized it wasn't "gouranga" at all.
