Yeah, when we threw house parties basically what we did was put a whole bunch of the "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS" yellow tape lines across the room a generous distance in front of the dj booth. So no one could get even close. Something like that is the way to do it...

Anything audio/visual is always technical complications/problem prone. DJing is a larg part of that, whether it be the house party or in teh club be prepared for tough conditions that someties seem possible.
