The only thing i didn't like about trancer was the fact that he would post 10 823748732874 word threads and no one would respond and they would just take up space. lol

How does it prove they are frauds? I suppose all your conservatives spend your days ringing in to liberal radio shows giving your points of view and "owning that liiberal softie" on a daily basis?

i salute you oh brave one.

I have one important rule: I don't debate with idiots.

Nor do I debate with drug addicts, they're a little too unstable for me.

This is funny becuase people like tiesto14 and Kapedan are insisting that unless liberals don't call the show, that suddenly what they say here is wrong becuase they won't take the challege. So, if they don't take the challenge, their liberal views are worng, and if they do take the challenge, then they have to go on a talk radio station that throw out most of the rules of a good structured debate and are structured so that objecting opinions are made to look foolish by distracting tactics. It's like a win-win situation for tiesto14. AMazing my boy, you didn't even have to come up with any original arguments, and you've already won. You'll go far in politics.

What the fuck are you on, amigos? I didnt say that, your just assuming I did. I havent posted much in this thread, but Ive followed it closely.

There are a few members in here that spend quality hours on politics and what goes on, and I dont see why not take the challenge to challege a conservative radio host when you know all that knowllegble. Since most of the Democrats in here think that Republicans are a bunch of idiots and this administration is wrong, or whatever issues like Iran, Iraq.

Id love to see hardcore trancer debate Rush Im gonna piss my pants off at that.

I also like to see Hardprod debate him about how there is no god or whatever he believes in.

Somebody should step up though, and us right wing minded people can maybe call a liberal show and take the challege.

First of all I'm not liberal. Second of all, if I cared enough to phone Limbaugh's show I doubt he would give the time that is needed to properly articulate a comprehensive argument.

If by some stroke of luck I were able to actually get on his show, no doubt by deceiving the screeners by pretending I was a complete ignoramous, I would probably question his "conservative" principles for his habitual drug use. Then I would question his "principles" altogether for preaching one thing, and leading a lifestyle completely contradictory to what he preaches ...

quote:
here's nothing good about drug use. We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies. Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods, which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up.

What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too.

...We are becoming too tolerant as a society, folks, especially of crime, in too many parts of the country.... This country certainly appears to be tolerant, forgive and forget. I mean, you know as well as I do, you go out and commit the worst murder in the world and you just say you're sorry, people go, "Oh, OK. A little contrition."... People say, "I feel better. He said he's sorry for it." We're becoming too tolerant, folks.

This is a good point. It's not like calling in to his show will put forth anything constructive becuase of its lack of a structure that would provide a good, solid debate. And why Rush? I'm sure there are peaople that would represent a better republican and conservative take on issues.

I'm just wondering, how exactly would the person calling be certain that you'll keep your promise and hand out 100$? I certainly wouldn't have a problem calling Rush regardless of who wins because I really wouldn't mind sacrificing my "reputation" on an internet board for real 100$.

But there are a couple of points you're missing on. First of them is that there's probably thousands of people calling Rush non-stop, so it's really a stroke of luck to be selected to talk to him. The second point is that regardless of whose debating skills are better, that really doesn't say much about the real issues at hand. There are smart and stupid liberals, as there are smart and stupid conservatives. I personally think some of the debaters here could hold their ground when confronted with Rush, although it's difficult to judge one's real life debating skills and quickness of thought judging by written word only.

That being said, I'd gladly accept your offer, but I doubt you'd be so stupid to send me 100$ after that. I mean, really..if someone would give you a 100$ to call a liberal commentator who you'd know would beat you in debate, wouldn't you do it? Of course you would. I would too. That being said, noone with the slightest trace of reason would offer someone 100$ for 5 minutes of work and slightly tarnished internet-pride. That's why noone is accepting your offer.

I think it was that he was taking strong pain medications without a prescription or with a fake one, but I'm not sure.
