buuuuuuuut since we are talking about Braveheart and it was made before The Patriot, doesnt seem fair to even allow one in the same sentance as the other, nevermind comparing them.

Quality film, and very impressive for an actor turned director, and leading man.

Irish have st paddys day , us scotish have william wallace day! August 23rd..On August 23, 1305, after defeat at the Battle of Falkirk and eventual betrayal, Wallace was hung, drawn and quartered in Smithfield, London. Seven hundred years on, Braveheart has lost none of his power to lure pilgrims.

i love the first big army battle scene where the irish guy puts a sabre through someguys face. makes me quiver everytime.

top 5 alltime for me. cant really decided on a number one as there are too many classic movies like this. watched it probably a good 30+ times as i have the dvd right here.
