the 430EX is a great compliment to the drebel xt, depending on the locale might make for great pics if used at a 45* bounce rather than direct Vistek i think offers rentals of flash/strobes if you wanna try before you buy

ive been told by many people that the 430ex is the one to go with so i doubt i will need to try before i buy.
