Might be a little premature as I'm only 4 minutes into it but this is my kind of shit. Curious to see how this builds, but the mix has definately started on a good note.
edit:
OMG! The track at 50:00, from Sasha's Glastonbury set, put a huge smile on my face
edit 2:
Ok so here's a more proper review. Overall I really enjoyed the set. Your track selection and the way you matched up the tracks together was superb. Other than Rex The Dog's Prototype though, I have no complaints about this set at all. And it's not that I don't like the song, because I do. But it didn't fit the set as a whole in my opinion. And it came on a little too strong, but I won't hold it against you. I've mixed the tune myself numerous times and it's not easy bringing that track in very smoothly. I'll definately listen to this again as I'm really into this epic-sci-fi-disco-funk sound. Cheers!
8/10

Wow, thanks Infinity, I really appreciate the review man! I'm glad you dug it... And yeah, that Rex the Dog tune is another one of the tracks in here that people either love or absolutely hate.
I've been told by a couple kids that the mix into that is one of the best mixes they've ever heard in their lives and I've been told that it sounds absolutely rubbish...
The one thing I've learned from this mix more than any other is that some people are going to love things that others hate, and vice versa. Some of the stuff I've gotten the highest praise for has also been some of the stuff I've gotten the most criticism for... It's interesting to see the disparity between who likes what...
In any event, /rambling post... thanks again for the listen, and stay tuned for "Prostitute Soundtrack" mixed by me, to be released in not too long
Tejada is one of my fav producers so a winner from teh start for me! My kinda shizzle definately. Deep, groovy and with some good dollops of electronic funk. The track around 21 mins had me urgin to dance.
I cant do in-depth praise so Im just gonna leave with the comment:
"This will be played to fuckin death for a few months to come!"

I think that's one of the highest compliments I can get... thanks m8, I really appreciate it!
A little update for anyone who enjoyed this set, I just completed all the edits I'll be using for the next one which will predominantly be done on CDJ's, however beyond that, I just finished the very end of the set which was done in Ableton and I'm absolutely thrilled with how it's turned out!
The next promo features a classic or two, a favorite from last fall, and a host of new tunes spanning the realms of progressive & tech house... Should be out by sometime next week
first set I've heard by you, you're def one of the better DJs on this site man. Went crazy when I heard Rex the Dog. Seems no one rocks that track.
I'm not gonna write a whole mix-by-mix review as some have done, even the best still have an occasional trainwreck and stumble/correction, as long as its not too noticeable Tracklist is mint.
Great work and keep 'em coming.

dude rob i've been hammering the shit out of this set the last few days. Pretty much whenever I was on my computer I was listening to a set by various TAs and in the majority of the cases it was this. I even listened to it a couple times in a row (i've had a long night )
great shit dude. I burned it to a CD and plan on enjoying it on the trip down to milwaukee today too
