doombot, go away. sasha has let his guests play some pretty prime hours, hence your getting off early comment or whatever. he can probably mix with a handcranked phonograph better than anyone can with vinyls and cdjs so that second statement of yours is moot.
The line wasn’t long when we got there around 11:30pm; had to wait no more than 10 mins. I got a little concerned when it started drizzling, but it didn’t rain hard when we were on line. So that was cool.
It was my first time listening to Satoshi. I thought he was good. I liked the beats that he was playing. But! I also thought it wasn’t coordinated and it was a bit all over the place. But! It was good. I liked many of the tracks he played towards the end of his set.
Like Ryan said, most of the night, I was having so much fun that I wasn’t sure who was playing. Haha. But! Had to look up this one time because some rock stuff played and yes, it wasn’t Sasha spinning. Haha.
The crowd was ok too. I really thought it’d be super packed, but it wasn’t! The only complaint I had was when some 18 yr old girls started screaming with joy at so many unnecessary moments. My ears started hurting. Haha.
Did they raise the drink prices at Crobar? Ordered a RedBull & Vodka .. and a Long Island Iced Tea .. and it was $28! Hmm. I’m not a huge alcohol drinker, but I did not know they stop serving alcohol on a “Saturday” morning, 4-8am. I thought it was only Sunday’s.
Stayed till closing. Then headed to Love, but they were closed. Then headed to Sol, but then they just closed. Felt like I havn't partied like last night in ages.
Next stop Markus Schulz!!!!! I am looking forward to seeing him perform for the first time.

i just saw lavelle and sasha here in DC and i must say that lavelle is the worst fucking DJ i've ever seen in my life. he cannot mix for shit only small little thing is that he played about 3 good tracks but for some reason sasha let him play a lot of the peak hours when he is supposed to be an OPENER.

This was the party of the year for me. Sasha suprised everyone and didn't play his usual electro style. He played dark hard progressive for most of the night. Satoshi was a really good opener, and Lavelle in the middle brought the energy up. Sasha's last few hours was just insane. Near the end they sprayed the entire floor with confetti. Then when the C02 came on, the confetti would rise from the floor, making an awesome party effect.

We closed out the night, then went with a huge group to afterhours @ Love, only for me to catch Damian Lazarus and Three getting into a cab right around the block from the club. Gabe called from the other car and said they'd gone to Sol, but at that point (like 8 am), we decided we were done for the night.
you should have txt msg me to let me know you were coming over to love - was there until around 6 am or so and then got breakfast and headed home
