Great resource, didn't know about it. Bookmarked.
I almost went for architecture when I got out of high school, have always been interested in buildings and architecture. I am a designer now but still appreciate good architecture, renovations, etc. I think I'd like to eventually get into buying some old brick warehouses, I saw some that I liked in the downtown area of Milwaukee near the river and turn them into housing. I am assuming you must be in the field yourself?
The University Club Tower is amazing. The floor plans I was just looking at the other day as I sit and dream of finding $2mil to plunk down on a condo.
I haven't seen the commerce st. makeover I don't believe, any pics online?
When I was with my girl we were actually at one point gonna look at some of the condo units by the river but most were sold out already. |
I'm not in the field yet. I'm actually in college for Film, which sucks so hopefully i can get my grades up enough to get into the Architecture school, which, to say the least, is VERY selective.
as far as the commerce street makeover, known as the beerline neighborhood has its own site at http://www.thebeerline.com/
theres a couple picture threads on skyscrapercity midwest section but they dont have a search function that i know about so its somewhat hard to find.
