what do you mean by that.

also are you a pro dj

When you DJ, you're blending the two tracks for a while before going totally over to one or the other. With 32 beats of bass and high hats, if the DJ wants to mix out during the bass and high hat region, he can do that while not having to mix out super quickly.

Most wouldn't though...they'd leave both tracks mixed together until something actually starts going on in the second track. You won't fix this by adding more beats...they'll just start the mix later in the track most likely.

Basically...it doesn't really matter what you do, the DJ will mix in when he wants to. You have given him time to mix out before the tribal thing starts if that's what he wants to do, so there's no reason to extend that period.

But that's just my humble opinion. Am I a pro DJ? Probably not...what is a pro DJ anyway? I have played in large clubs on multiple occasions, does that make me pro? Depends on your definition.

Now post some damn samples

i might add that

the piece is 140 BPM and the first 8 bars therefore take about 14 seconds.

This track will be a fucking mess

now,

POST SOME MUTHAFUCKING SAMPLES

and make the track however the fuck you fell like it! If the drum beat is so important to the track, it'll be played. Its the DJs fuckin job to mix the music to suit the track, not your job to make the track to suit the mix. Why don't you understand that?

If you're so worried about the structure, listen to other tracks and take note of what that producer has done and when they do it, it'll give you an indication. Seriously, why the fuck do we have to do all the thinking for you?
