First time I hear it I thought 1998 as well

Decent track, but rather overrated imo

The fact that it borrows the same chord-progression from Cinema, and the 1998-esque melody shows that people are running out of ideas.

good tracks are actually still released that sound better than this. Side-A - Synopsys 1.1 and Jaïa - Last Call for instance. Very melodic tunes which are wonderful.
