I see your point...BUT...any group who conducts suicide bombings weekly is a terrorist group and therefore should not be heard only eradicated.

Why is it, no matter what the conflict, people have to remind everyone that the US has aided terrorists...as if it somehow makes their arguement that more valid. I dont condone US actions (in the past) nor do i condone Hamas'.

the reminder wasn't to condemn the u.s. it was that the u.s. operates with whomever serves it's best interests.

eradicating hamas won't do anything to stop the violence. a new group, with a new name and an even more radical agenda will quickly spring up. that's why everyone is in this awful cycle -- the root problems (lack of a viable state, occupation, etc.) don't get solved.

I agree. The US past involvments with this whole subject unfortuantely will ALWAYS keep us involved. There will be no end to this because no country in the Middle East will ever be satisfied with ANY agreement brought to the table. This is because of one of the Seven Deadly Sins..............GREED
Everyone wants too much but is not willing to give. It's a shame. A real damn shame.

Nick, welcome to the "real" world....like it or not that is how the world works and there is no changing that.

To me it doesnt seem like Hamas is the big problem in this mess but Hezbollah is. It is quite obvious that Iran and Syria are waging a proxy war through Lebanon using Hezbollah. If you ask me i think Iran is doing this cus they think we (the US) are stuck in Iraq and they can destroy Israel without much interference.

Hezbollah is sending rockets into Israel and Israel is defending itself - period.

I agree.

I don't think the U.S is ready to intervene yet, beside Bush is all about diplomacy now.

In my own personal opinion, I think war is inevitable, people will always fight for different issues, thus said. Countries in the middle East, where religion and territory means so much makes it even a more delicate situation to handle. Sooner or later people start throwing bombs.

If the U.S intervenes, what do you think will happen? And we all know where gas prices will go...

The scientist cannot capture the whole cosmos in thought. In his mind he makes a kind of microcosm, which we see as an analogue of the cosmos. In this way we try to get a feeling for the whole. The artist, I suppose, gets a feeling for the whole some other way.”
