how was it......no doubt it was off the chain as i was there in jan also

it was amazing. Mazzola wasn't that great of an opener. I walked in and he was playing paolo mojo - 1983 so I was like sweet. But then he was all over the place, playing slower songs, then peak songs, then slower songs. It was a challenge for him to match up styles with digweed.

but oh well. Digweed got on around 1:15 or 1:30 er so. He started kinda boring for my taste. He still was playing kick ass tracks, but it was a bit too prog. But then he slowly turned it up and the last half of his set was pure amazement. I have been getting sick of hearing buildups that end in some 'dirty electro' bassline, and it was soooooo feckin sweet to finally hear it end in just a solid kick and a deep bassline. it was really refreshing.






I got a few vids, but I dont feel like converting right now. Ill get on it later. I have a few pics, not many, will upload later. I must rest for tomorow night. Halliwell.

Did he start playing really really pretty big room prog tracks towards the end? Thats what he did at Mayan. EFF TEEE DOUBLE YOU

He started off with the big room prog here in SF last time. He needs to come back. Might have been the best night musically this year for me. Was so good!!!

The way he is able to keep track of where his set is going with such ease is mindblowing imo.

he played for 3 hours and finished with BIG room prog. That was the last hour to hour n a half.

man...the rest of our trip was pretty drunk haha. we had planned to go to ghost bar on saturday night, but everyone passed out in the hotel. we had planned to go to haliwell sunday night, but everyone passed out in the hotel. sorry we didn't get a chance to hang out other than digweed, but i hope you had as great a time at the show as we were having . good to see you and the other random TA's that were there. next time we'll have to wait to drink until after 10am...

yea them basslines and kicks sounded sooooo good.
