If you've never done any drugs, wouldn't it be not your place to determine why people do them?
If I didn't drink and called everyone who drank 'dirty' I think you'd see some very angry people.
People do drugs for the same reason they go sky diving, river rafting, compete in sports, etc... Its an experience.
For those of you who have done drugs there's also one other big thing that happens to many who use drugs, seeing a different 'persception' on life.. Makes you look at many things very differently and gives you some new perspective on things. For me that has been the biggest thing to come out of using mushrooms

I totally agree with Thor as well.
When I listen to music "under the influense" I become able to understand and appreciate it better. But that does not in any way mean that Ive got any sort of problems appreciating trance while sober. I spend about 6 - 7 hours a day listening to music and I dont do drugs on a daily or weekly basis. Trance is great by it self. Its just that you, as Thor says, see things from a different perspective. You really got to experience it to understand what its all about (Not that Im trying to get anyone to use drugs or anything, its just a matter of fact).
Im born christian btw, but not religious beyond beeing a member in the swedish church.
